Why someone would like to become an architect, when he has chances to go for different professions like engineer and doctor and lawyer. Well if you are kind of person who is always interested in what is happening around us, curious about surroundings then you might be interested in learning how to improve them. As an architect I shall have power and responsibility to shape the environment with which people spend their daily lives. This makes architects a very influential profession in today’s society.
A writer – and, I believe, generally all persons – must think that whatever happens to him or her is a resource. All things have been given to us for a purpose, and an artist must feel this more intensely. All that happens to us, including our humiliations, our misfortunes, our embarrassments, all is given to us as raw material, as clay, so that we may shape our art.

Through wild imagination architect ponder in context, needs and details of the edifice. These three elements are needed to articulate built form with solids, voids with proportions and aesthetics, giving birth to the architecture in its own realm. Ultimate goal of architecture is to design not buildings, but the very own experience and usefulness of the spaces inside and outside.
Context is a very important for architectural design process. Surrounding topography, old monuments, existing structures, climate, sun position everything counts for a good living environment inside the building. Inside experience of the building is dependent on completely outside setup of the context. How to deal with the context gives clues for good architectural design. We need to imagine and understand step by step the consequence of the surrounding in and on the building, which shall evolve a unique sustainable design itself.
The exact need evolves the typology of the building. The function, people and social situations develop a typology. How people, users of the building are going to utilise the space, gives precise meaning to the quality of the space. Function sometimes becomes the major form finding element. Function can guide design to take shape. Circulation like a flowchart of a computer is the mainstay of the design process.Inside experience how the spaces make feel, is matter of the comfort level, pleasant appearance, introverted or extraverted spaces of the edifice.
Details emerges from analysis and study of material, how to apply materials to a built form. What is detail? When interlocking constructional elements, junctions and expressive material finishes are taken in account, thinking construction and aesthetical sense, they can become self-expressive technical composition. And this thoughtful and creative process of working with materials and joints we call it as Detailing.
